California Roadtrip
From San Diego I started on this bold and ambitious trip - to cover the entire state in just two weeks in early March. This time of the year was perfect to visit as I was witness to a California submerged in a variety of seasons - from balmy spring/summer like weather on the SoCal Coasts to biting yet welcoming snow in the Sierra Nevadas. In this two week span I was able to surf, ski, hike, bike, and kayak my way across some of the most sublime landscapes and views known to humanity. Reflecting a week in at Yosemite, it dawned on me - as I trudged through snowfall and below freezing temperatures - that just the week before I was surfing in San Diego! From the relaxed vibes of SoCal to the coastal redwoods of NorCal, from the alien deserts of the Mojave to the iced over trails of the Sierra Nevada, I hope to bring such experiences to the viewer through this album of work.
